The entrepreneurs of Oikiat Design knew they wanted to utilize expert services in developing their product innovation. They took the reins into their own hands and, as if guided by destiny - and through a networking event - found their way into Corporate Development customers.

And what a collaboration it started when Oikiat Design jumped into the whirlpool of the project with our consultant Seppo Laine . The main goal was to clarify the strategy for the growth of Oikiat Design's Garment Patch and to promote the implementation of the product's commercialization plan in stages. The project started in June 2019 and is still ongoing.

On the other hand, long distances often pose their own challenges - even in this project. The co-operation was spread across Finland from Helsinki to Oulu and from Kuortane to Lahti. The acclaimed commitment from all parties, however, took the victory off the stumbling blocks set by the distances.

The multi-phase project, which drills into several different areas of the business, has given Oikiat Design the tools to build the success of the company. Important lessons have been learned, for example, about the importance of prioritization and the scope of business. With the help of these lessons, the Clothing Patch is developed forward and for the world.

When asked about the progress of the project, Jetta and Seppo both state exhaustively that the project has gone well - Oikiat Design's situation is currently growing and the future looks promising. However, the project is still going on and things are moving step by step.
